RDS-Operator is an OPEN enrollment class but Texas Peace Officer will receive TCOLE credit through TMPA. Upon successful completion you will receive a RDS-Operator #2529 certificate.

About the event
The RDS-Operator #2529 8 hour course is designed to provide you with the foundational skills and techniques for acquiring a pistol-mounted optic quickly and efficiently. This course focuses on:
- Balancing Speed and Accuracy
- Developing a consistent Draw
- Target Transitions
- Reloads
- Finding the Dot Consistently, Repeatably, and Predictively
- Vision for propper target confirmation
- Grip that suited for the individual shoot
- Proper trigger manipulation with a focus on letting our vison drive out shooting
In this course, you will gain skills and knowledge that you can continue to develop at home, enhancing your proficiency as a shooter to develop the highest levels of speed and accuacy. Additionally, you will receive TCOLE credit and, upon successful completion, a certificate for the RDS-Operator TCOLE #2529.
Equipment:
- Pistol with Red Dot Sight already mounted.
- Ear & Eye protection
- Duty grade holster and 2 magazine pouches on belt.
- Recommended 5 magazines, minimum 3 magazines.
- USPSA Gear is welcome.
- Rain Gear
- 500 rds ammunition recommended. (More is better)
